Bomoseen-Pan Fishing

Took the morning off from chores to catch some slab blue gills on Bomoseen. The day was a beautiful blue bird day, slight breeze, water temp was 48 degrees, air temp was 62 degrees. I decided to drfit over some old weedbeds in 6 to 8 ft of water. Fishing wax worms on a slip bobber. A charteuse jig head worked better than the black and yellow head. I fished for 2 hours and brought home 16 slab blue gills. Made for a mighty fine lunch. In additon to the blue gills kept and lot of smaller ones bit as well as a few small largemouths.
